Hi, I’m Emily.

Founder and practitioner of in·well.

I spent 10 years in corporate finance before starting in·well. Today, I’m a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner who combines functional lab testing and muscle testing to help you understand what your body actually needs.

Here’s a little more about how I got here, the training behind my work and why I approach health the way I do.

My Journey to Health

After living with autoimmune thyroid issues for more than 15 years, I understand how discouraging it can be to do “all the right things” and still not feel well. Despite medication and routine blood work, symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, anxiety, hair loss, and poor circulation persisted, and I was left feeling unlike myself.

Feeling frustrated and desperate for answers, I discovered muscle testing, which completely changed my relationship with my health. By identifying and addressing the root causes of my symptoms, I experienced profound improvements not just in regard to my symptoms, but my life overall. Layering in lab work gave me the markers to assess progress in real time and personalize my care even further, which is why I love working with both modalities for deeper, more personalized healing. My own experience also shaped what I don’t believe wellness needs to look like: endless supplements, extreme restrictions or making your health a full-time job.

This experience not only changed my health, but it also became my passion and changed my whole career.

Before in·well, I spent 10 years in corporate finance. I know what it’s like to keep showing up for a demanding career while quietly not feeling like yourself, and that background still shapes how I work today: organized, practical and focused on what actually makes a difference. After seeing what a personalized approach did for my own health, I felt called to step away and pursue work that truly mattered to me.

Today, I’m deeply passionate about helping others better understand their bodies and feel more confident in the support they’re giving them. I started in·well because I’ve seen firsthand what can change when care becomes more personalized, intentional and curious, and it’s an honor to walk alongside my clients through that process.
